About us

House with No Steps is one of the leading not-for-profit organisations providing services and support to the disability sector in NSW, QLD and more recently the ACT.

Our focus is on people’s abilities rather than their disabilities. We offer employment, education, training, accommodation and social connection programs to 3,300 people with a disability across 160 locations.

We operate 27 diverse business enterprises which compete in the open marketplace on commercial terms, whilst providing employment opportunities for over 600 people with a disability. Our business enterprises aim to run at breakeven or better, with any net profits used to subsidise other community services.
